Science and Technology Advice for Decisionmakers: Congressional Briefing

There is a critical need for better, more focused research on complex science and technology issues that Congress and the Administration can use as they consider how to best protect and serve society.

On May 20, 2009 in Washington D.C., there will be a panel discussion to delve into this topic and reflect on reports such as "Science and Technology Policy in Congress" by the Consensus Building Institute and the Keystone Center, "OSTP 2.0: Critical Upgrade" by the Woodrow Wilson Center, and "Improving the Use of Science in Regulatory Policy" by the Bipartisan Policy Center.
