Kate Harvey

Kate Harvey is Associate of The Consensus Building Institute, Inc., where she works as mediator, facilitator, coach, and trainer. Kate works with individuals from federal agencies, local governments, multilateral organizations, nonprofit organizations, and corporate entities to evaluate and improve their negotiation skills and decision-making capacities. Her interests are varied and include environmental and energy policy, public health, youth leadership, community development, and corporate decision-making.

Kate has facilitated dialogues on issues including managing effective meetings, community development, and interagency collaborations. She has developed and delivered courses on negotiation and communication skills for corporate negotiators, land use professionals, international development professionals, community leaders and high school students. In addition, she is competent in bilingual Spanish research and presentation.

Kate holds an M.A.L.D. in Conflict Resolution and International Natural Resource Policy from the Fletcher School, Tufts University, and a B.A. from Schiller International University, Madrid, Spain.
